Come to our first annual kitten adopt-a-thon! Every summer, the Oakland Animal Shelter gets hundreds of kittens. If you’ve thought about adopting a cat or kitten, now is the time! For only $35 you can take home your new best friend. This adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccinations!

On Sunday, August 2 from 1-4 p.m., we are hosting a special kitten adopt-a-thon in hopes of finding homes for many of our shelter kittens. Volunteers will show you kittens that have just become old enough for adoption, and a photographer will send you home with a special photo of you and your new kitten!
We have a variety of kittens available for adoption.
P.S. We have many adult cats looking for good homes, too! The $35 adoption fee also applies!
