Thanks to a generous grant from Petco Love, Oakland Animal Services is holding a free veterinary clinic for low-income residents of East Oakland, Saturday 8/21, from 10am to 1pm, outside the Eastmont Mall.
Pet guardians will receive veterinary checks for their pets, as well as vaccinations, microchips, pet tags, and pet food and supplies, at no cost. A limited number of spay/neuter surgeries will be performed on-site in a spay/neuter clinic van. Spay/neuter appointments for this event can be made by emailing outreach@oaklandanimalservices.org
We are so grateful to Petco Love, and to Councilmembers Loren Taylor and Treva Reid, for supporting this effort. Please feel free to come by and/or share this information with pet guardians who may need support for veterinary care and supplies for their pets!
