Taco is the life of the party! He's curious about his surroundings and loves to invite anyone (humans or his puppy brother) around him to chase or tug--he's a play-hard, nap-hard kind of boy. He's happy to sleep in his crate (with potty and play breaks!) and is working on house-training on newspaper (after just a few days in his foster home, he'll run to the right spot almost all of the time!).
He loves to snuggle, on your lap, by your side, or wedge himself in between your back and the couch, and then nap or chew his toys. Come say hi to this sweet, easy-going boy!
Taco went on a field trip recently with a foster volunteer and this is what she said about Taco:
“Taco is a little hesitant about getting into the car, so he needs a boost up onto the seat. Once in the car he is a very good passenger! He likes to look out the windows but is content to stay in one place. His leash manners are excellent for such a young guy! He is curious and likes to sniff and explore. When seeing new people, Taco barked at one guy and ignored others. He’s just a very curious puppy!
Taco was very curious about other dogs, and he even increased his speed to try and catch up to one dog, but it seemed like a friendly curiosity. He showed some prey drive with the squirrels and birds and wanted to chase them!
Smart boy Taco is a quick learner who already knows sit, and he’ll likely pick up other new things with positive rewards-based training. Taco is very sweet and affectionate. He leans into you for reassurance. Love him!”
