Balto

Balto is an absolute gem. He’s such a special dog, any family would be so lucky to have him. He is SO SWEET AND CUDDLY but also a total PLAYFUL GOOBER. All he wants in the whole world is to be in the same room with his people — if you give him a squeaky toy or take him for a walk on top of that, he’ll be over the moon! Everyone who meets him absolutely falls in love, and he’s great with strangers and kids. He is such a handsome pup with so much heart to give. His personality really starts to shine after the first few days together — your heart will melt when you see him chase a butterfly!

He doesn’t bark, is perfectly house trained, doesn’t jump on furniture, and knows basic commands! He’s still a puppy, so lots of energy and he’s still working on his manners, but he’s willing to learn new tricks for a bit of kibble! (He has a bad habit of playing in his water bowl, but it’s so deliriously cute and not difficult to correct.) He’s sometimes ok with cats, but other times he gets too excited and tries to chase them (he was adopted by a family with multiple senior cats and they were heartbroken not to keep him). He’s best in a house without cats or a place that’s willing to slowwwwly introduce them to each other. He’s been ok with walking by other dogs, but might do best as an only dog in the home for now.

He deserves a home that will shower him in love and give him lots of outlets for his energy. He’s truly such a special pup, you need to meet him to get the full picture of how gorgeous he is and what a sparkling personality he has, it’s really something else!
