Meet Taos! His ear-to-ear smile is contagious as he hops around, but don't be fooled, he can turn on those jets and get moving pretty quick. Most of the time, however, he can be found on his bed lounging around. He does exceptionally well in his crate, relaxing quietly for hours until it's time to come out and play according to his prior fosters. He matches the energy around him very well.
Taos is around 2-4 years old, 35 pounds, and is adjusting to living in a house after being found as a stray. That said, he'll need some training and regular potty breaks to avoid accidents in the house. He is also adjusting to life as a TriPawd, but after only a few weeks, he is already running, jumping, playing, and even climbing the stairs!
Taos can be sensitive to busy environments and too much handling, so we think a home without small humans will be best. He can be nervous around new people and would prefer to be the solo dog in the home. He'll bring whoever adopts him many years of joy and his indomitable spirit is a true testament to what a strong little guy he is.
