Meet the charming Muffin! This tall and handsome Belgian Malinois mix, standing at 3 years old and weighing 80lbs, boasts a soft coat and striking markings that make him truly stand out. Sadly, Muffin found himself surrendered by his family just before the holidays due to his size.
Previously kept as an outdoor dog, Muffin is in the process of adjusting to a more social indoor environment. Although a bit under-socialized, he's winning hearts with his sweet and affectionate nature, especially once he gets to know you. A staff favorite, Muffin eagerly approaches for treats, showing a keen understanding of who "butters his muffin" (or bread!).
This intelligent canine companion is still in the learning phase when it comes to basic commands, but he's a quick study. Muffin responds promptly to his name and comes when called, showcasing his responsive nature. While he has been nonreactive to dogs in the shelter, he's still getting acclimated to canine social dynamics and is working on his dog skills.
Muffin would thrive as a solo dog or potentially with another well-matched companion who possesses excellent dog skills, aiding in his continued socialization.
