Otto was found in an auto body shop (hence the name) here in Oakland, but has since been living the good life as he well deserves in foster and is ready to find his furrever home and people! He had quite the glow-up after just one week in foster, recovering from URI, getting a much-needed flea bath, and packing on about ½ pound!
He was understandably a little shy and fearful at first but as he started to feel better he grew to quickly trust his foster humans, including two older children, and has really blossomed in a short period of time into a very well-rounded kitten, greeting his foster family at the door and immediately purring while following them around as they check litterboxes, clean up food bowls, and eventually settle in for cuddles and playtime.
Otto is still a bit shy and may hiss initially when meeting new people but a slow introduction usually does the trick and he’s curious and purring in no time. He is the sweetest, most playful guy, a great companion to humans and his adopted sister, Astrid.
