Umbrella is treat and toy motivated, making training fun – he's already learned "sit" and "down," and loves playing with squeaky toys and plushies. He is still working on his leash manners and is very strong, so adopters should be ready to help him improve on loose-leash walking.

When meeting new dogs, Umbrella seems eager to engage and play, but he's still figuring out the right way to socialize. He's a bit of a work-in-progress in that department, so he'd thrive in a home with a well-matched dog buddy or as the solo dog.
