Meet Caesar, a 1-year-old, 53-pound pup ready to bring his playful, loving nature into your home! Caesar has all the energy and smarts of a working breed pup, with a gentle disposition that makes him an affectionate and loyal companion. He's attentive, eager to learn, and always up for fun!
On a recent field trip, Caesar proved to be a dream in the car, settling in calmly after a quick whine. On leash, he had a little puppy excitement, but quickly checked in with his handler and responded well to redirection. He was curious about people and other dogs but remained easy to manage and wasn’t reactive. Caesar also seems to know "sit" and is ready to learn more—we’re confident that with some tasty treats, he’ll be a quick study!
Caesar would thrive in a home with patient adopters who can continue his training, helping him refine his manners and curb his excitement. He’s gentle when playing with other dogs at the shelter. He could do well with a compatible canine sibling, or as an only dog with plenty of playdates.
