Serena is just as her name implies-- serene! While she may be a bit shy at first, this smart little sweetie would be a great furry companion for someone who likes a good balance of cozy days indoors, and outdoor adventures.
She loves a good walk, and she will definitely show her excitement with sweet little howls when she realizes it’s walkies time! She walks well on a leash and harness, and though she shows some hesitation around the neighborhood dogs, she hasn’t shown any signs of aggression.
In her foster home, Serena does well with the resident senior cat, showing interest but leaves them alone. Serena isn’t a big fan of fast movements or loud noises, so she’s likely not the ideal candidate for a home with small children. Serena is potty trained, very gentle when taking treats and waiting for breakfast, and shows no separation anxiety when left crated alone.
Serena is a wonderful girl who would benefit from someone who has the time and love to invest in helping to build her confidence, so that she can blossom fully into the loving and happy dog that she’s shown glimpses of in her foster home.
