Meet Doughboy! This sweet 2-year-old, 71-pound pittie mix is looking for a loving home where he can relax and enjoy life to the fullest.

Doughboy is deaf due to a genetic condition, but it doesn’t slow him down – he’s a gentle, easy-going boy who enjoys treats, pets, and a good walk. He’s great on the leash and loves to follow his humans around, always up for some quality time together.

Doughboy may look worried sometimes, but don’t let that fool you – he’s affectionate and enjoys every moment of attention. He’s a very gentle boy who takes treats softly and loves being pampered, even having a great time during his spa day bath! While he may not be too interested in toys, he definitely enjoys the company of his human and dog friends.

When meeting other dogs at the shelter, Doughboy is calm, loose, and relaxed, with medium energy. He would do well in a home with appropriately matched dogs or as the solo dog with some dog friends nearby. He’s ready for a home where he can thrive, with a family who will love and care for him just as he is.
