When Louie was rescued from the streets, he was barely recognizable as the healthy and happy dog he is today. Emaciated and suffering from a severe case of mange, his body was frail, and his spirit was nearly broken. Thanks to his village of caretakers, Louie received the medical care, nourishment, and love he so desperately needed.
Louie is ready for his next chapter! He’s a gentle, loving and obedient pup who looks up to his foster siblings, relishes in pets from his foster parents and eagerly greets each day with excitement. In addition to his sweet temperament, Louie checks all the boxes of a good dog:
- 100% potty trained and does his business outside
- Does not fuss when left alone (with his foster siblings)
- Polite and gentle when meeting other dogs, including small dogs
- Gentle when meeting strangers
- Playful and cuddly with his foster siblings
