Meet Butterbean! If you've found yourself here, you must be looking for a pocket-sized princess with an absolutely fabulous underbite. Oh, and she twirls. As in, perfect little excited circles that bring joy and belly laughs. Here's what her foster has learned about this 3-year old in a short time…

The positives

• Seems potty trained.
• Sleeps through the night.
• Likes to go on walks.
• EXPERT lap dog. Have an open lap? Now you don't.
• Friendly towards dogs of SIMILAR size. She's a wee 6 pounds, so if you've got bigger pup she's probably not your gal.
• Kid friendly with slow and respectful children, 8+
• Very food motivated.
• Haven't seen any destructive tendencies so far.

Som considerations

• Butterbean is a velcro dog. She wants you to be her person, and she doesn't like being alone. Best suited for a retiree or work from home family.
• She's a slow burner, and needs to feel safe before bestowing her stinky kisses. She needs a patient and gentle adopter(s) willing to work on confidence building.
• While generally quiet, she does have a loud voice for a small dog and it comes out randomly.
• Unknown how she feels about cats, but she does bark and pull at other prey.
• Will likely do best in a low traffic, quiet neighborhood.
