To adopt an animal listed on this page:
- Download and complete our adoption questionnaire which can be found here
- Email your completed adoption questionnaire to adoption@oaklandsanimals.org, listing the animal’s name/ID number in the subject line
- After reviewing your questionnaire, a staff member will respond to you if you are potential fit for the animal that you have applied for
You may also come by the shelter during our open adoption hours Thursdays 12 to 7pm, and Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays from 12 to 3pm. Learn more about our adoption process here.
