Hazelnut is the epitome of sweetness and ease, especially with her human friends. This gentle soul loves showering affection on her favorite humans. She came into our care as a mama of 10 puppies and she has been a stellar mom to them! But it’s time to soar on her own!
Hazelnut's Extra Charm: Mama (Hazelnut) is a total love bug. She adores having someone nearby for pets and reciprocates with sweet kisses. Hazelnut is house-trained, sleeps through the night on her favorite couch, and enjoys short walks to explore the cul-de-sac. On the mend, she prefers a calm space, making her an ideal companion for a loving home.
Special Notes: While Hazelnut shines with people, dog-to-dog interactions need caution. She is not a fan of other dogs at all. And prefers not to meet or interact. AT ALL. Hazelnut would prefer to be an only dog in the home. And definitely no dog parks for this girl.
Medical Note: Hazelnut has been on treatment for tapeworms, thanks to our our amazing shelter vet staff, she’s on the mend. This resilient gal, after raising TEN puppies, deserves all the care and comfort in the world.
