Public Property
If you find a dead animal on public property that needs to be removed, please complete the form below. If you do not include your contact information, we may not be able to pick up the animal. If it is a small animal, please consider placing the deceased animal in a plastic bag and discarding it in your trash bin or bringing it to the shelter.
Private Property
If you find a small dead animal (domestic or wild less than 10 pounds) on private property, please contact us to request removal.
We pick up large domestic animals and wildlife on private property for a fee. If the animal is on private property, please contact us to pre-pay for the pick up. The cost is $82 and may be more if the animal requires more than one person to lift.
Please note that we cannot pick up dead animals under private homes, decks or down slopes.
California Fish and Wildlife may be able to pick up dead wildlife from your property. Contact them to learn more.
